Answering Gabrielle

I love you Toby but i really don't see the point of voting or encouraging the adults in our lives to vote either. Even since the time the constitution was written, the political leaders have thought the average American too stupid to be politically educated. therefore they created the Electoral College to save us from making the wrong choice. One vote by the average American won't make any difference so why bother trying?

My dear friend,
I do see how you would not want the current adult figure to vote in our stead, seeing as how they have not done such a good job doing so in the previouse years. HOWEVER when the consitution was written, it was to lay down what our rights ARE, or in present times, WERE.
That is why I strongly push for teens and adults and anyone and EVERYONE to stand up NOW. Yes, the current government does believe the people to be stupid and ignorant, and perhaps ONE vote may not do much, but im not singling out any ONE person. Im trying to get a community to speak up for its self, and with enouph time and persistance that may be possible. If I were intent on singling out ONE person, I would just be helping the government by creating mass confusion and chaos, and I would be supporting the divided states of america.

And so in conclusion this is a blog to get more than one person to vote, to stand up, to stand out, and to make there statement. Let us prove together to the government that they should fear US.
